Who does the Principal Contract Manager make sense for?

The goal is to transfer the basics of contract and claims management. This training is therefore suitable for all employees who participate in projects. If you are interested in completing the training as Master Contract Manager or Professional Contract Manager, this course is the required pre-requisite.

What are competencies of the Principal Contract Manager?

The Principal Contract Manager is able to identify its own claims in the event of changes or problems in a project. This requires a basic understanding of how contracts work. Contracts set out the duties of the parties, and also provide protection. However, protection only exists if an early response to a claim is carried out. 

How to become a Principal Contract Manager?

As Principal Contract Manager, you have successfully answered all the exams of the lessons of the Basics module. This is how you have developed the basics of contract management. The Basics module includes 18 lessons, which deals with various topics from contract initiation to interpretation and conflict resolution, including payments, collateral and liability. Each lesson ends with a exam that asks for key points from each lesson.

Once the required score has been reached, you will be able to download the corresponding certificate as confirmation in your profile.

After obtaining the grade Principal Contract Manager, you have the opportunity to further qualify as a Master Contract Manager.

What time is required to become a Principal Contract Manager?

The module consists of 18 lessons, with a total duration of approx. 11 hours. Each lesson contains an exam, in which the content of the lesson is queried. Each question is limited in time. The duration of these individual exams is around 7 minutes per lesson. When you take the lessons and the exams is up to you, so that you can determine the time it takes to achieve the degree yourself.

What are the cost to become a Principal Contract Manager?

All that is required for certification is to pass the relevant exams. There is no obligation to book the learning content of the Contract Academy (Base Program, Claim Program or Contract Program). The price for this exam is € 470 including VAT and includes access for 1 year to all tests for the desired certification.

After this period, the extension of access can be purchased at a low price of € 50 per year.
